Privacy Policy

Visual Planner is designed to keep personal planning data private. The app does not require an account, contains no advertising, does not sell personal data, and does not track people across apps or websites.

Planning data

Tasks, Inbox items, schedules, reminders, recurrence rules, and completion history are stored on the device by default. If iCloud Sync is enabled, this data is also stored in the user’s private iCloud database and synchronized by Apple across devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Visual Planner never receives Apple Account credentials.

On-device intelligence

On supported devices, Visual Planner uses Apple’s system language model to interpret planning requests on the device. Planning text, voice transcripts, text extracted from selected images, tasks, and calendar events are not sent to Visual Planner, Firebase, OpenAI, or a developer server for AI processing. When Apple Intelligence is unavailable, a local deterministic parser is used.

Calendar, photos, speech, and notifications

Calendar events are accessed only after permission is granted and are processed on the device. Visual Planner reads only the calendars selected by the user. Voice input, speech recognition, and text extraction from photos are optional and user initiated. Task reminders use Apple’s notification system. Firebase Cloud Messaging may assign a device messaging token to deliver push notifications; task and calendar content is not included in Analytics events.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Visual Planner reads verified App Store entitlement information to provide premium access and never receives payment-card details.

Analytics and third-party services

Firebase Analytics is used to understand app usage and the subscription funnel, including paywall views, plan selections, completed purchases, restores, entitlement status, and notification interactions. Firebase may process an installation identifier, device identifier, product-interaction data, purchase history, and limited operational diagnostics. Visual Planner does not send task content, calendar events, planning requests, voice transcripts, extracted image text, email addresses, payment-card details, or messaging tokens to Firebase Analytics.

Retention and deletion

Planning data remains until the user deletes individual items or uses the available delete-all action. Removing the app deletes its local copy but may leave data in the user’s private iCloud database when sync was enabled. Synced data can be removed with Delete All Synced Data while iCloud Sync is active. Calendar events exported by the user must be removed in Apple Calendar. Permissions can be revoked in iOS Settings.
